Research Goals 研究目標

肺高血圧症グループでは、難治性肺高血圧に対し診療・研究の両面からアプローチし、BPA・手術・薬物療法を駆使して予後改善を目指しています。 The Pulmonary Hypertension Group approaches refractory pulmonary hypertension from both clinical and research perspectives, utilizing BPA, surgery, and pharmacological therapies to improve patient prognosis.

Research Topic 研究内容

肺高血圧症グループでは基礎研究と臨床研究を行い、肺高血圧症のさらなる治療法の解明に取り組んでおります。
基礎研究については、神戸薬科大学臨床薬学教室と共同で遺伝子改変マウスや肺動脈平滑筋細胞・内皮細胞を用いた細胞実験など肺高血圧の新たな治療アプローチの開発を行っております。海外の研究施設（フランス、インドネシア）と連携しての研究も推進しております。
臨床研究についても、慢性血栓塞栓性肺高血圧症(CTEPH)に対するBPA治療の指導施設であり、BPA治療に関する臨床研究を多く報告しております。また、国内の多施設と共同でCTEPHに対する薬剤治療やBPA治療の前向きの臨床研究を多く行っております。 The Pulmonary Hypertension Group conducts both basic and clinical research to further elucidate treatment strategies for pulmonary hypertension. In basic research, in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at Kobe Pharmaceutical University, we are developing novel therapeutic approaches using genetically modified mice as well as pulmonary artery smooth muscle and endothelial cell experiments. We also promote collaborative research with international institutions in France and Indonesia.
In clinical research, our group serves as a reference center for balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) treatment for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) and has reported numerous studies on BPA therapy. Additionally, we actively participate in multicenter prospective clinical studies in Japan investigating pharmacological treatments and BPA for CTEPH.
